Today we celebrate the original Furrball, the Phil Mickelson of Fayetteville, the Handyman to all, Aaron McLean "Mac" Furr.
Born on Tuesday, December 30, 1958 in Cumberland County, Mac is the son of the late Clyde and Shirley Furr. He passed away Monday, July 5, 2021 at the age of 62.
Mac is survived by his wife, Dawn Furr; brother, Jack Lowther; sister, Lolann Cain and husband John; three sons, Aaron, Adrian and wife Ashley, and TJ; daughter, Arielle; five grandchildren, Levi, Robert, Hunter, Dakota and Grayson; and a host of other family and friends.
Mac was a stranger to no one and was loved by many. The practical joker he was would put a smile on anyone's face. Infectious is the best word to describe his joy and laughter. As devoted Christian, he set an example of the love our father Jesus Christ has for us.
Mac was a dedicated Papa, husband, father, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
