Agnes Sparkman

Agnes Smith Sparkman 83 of Hope Mills died February 24, 2011. She taught her children how to love by example to the very end. She touched the hearts of approximately 100 Foster children. Each of us learned to distribute love and appreciate life.

She is the daughter of the late Badger and Lennie Scott Jenkins. She is survived by children: Raymond Smith Jr. and wife Jeanne, Patricia Burch and husband Paul David, Don Smith and wife Vickie, Cynthia Willis, Janice Cannon and husband Kelly, Michael Smith, Barbara Sessoms and Willie Smith; sisters, Eloise Wright and Shelby Byrd; brother, Lyndel Jenkins; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Jeffrey Dale Smith; husband Raymond Horace Smith and husband D. A. Sparkman.
