Agnes Valentine

Agnes Wright Valentine, 82 of Hope Mills, passed away, December 24, 2016, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Born in Tolarsville, NC, she is the daughter of the late Sandy and Alma Powers Taylor. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Wright and a brother, Marvin Taylor.

She is survived by; two daughters, Gwendolyn Walker & husband Doyle "Doak" of Hope Mills and Connie Fraley & husband Nick of Sanford; a sister, Betty Shepard Evergreen, NC; 6 grandchildren, Robert Walker, Heather Walker, Chris Walker & wife Karen, Karen Bell & husband Greg, Rebecca Franco and Jessica Whitaker & husband Raymond; 15 great grandchildren, Cody Walker, Cheyenne Eustler & husband Tyler, Brionna Carruth, Jalen Carruth, Gavin Whitaker, Myia Freyholtz, Ally Franco, Kadence Walker, Jaymus Hewitt, Ainsleigh Lewis, Harley Walker and Tommie Walker, Skylar and James Olson, Shianne Willett; two brother-in-law's, Wayne Wright and wife Margaret and Leroy Wright and wife Emmalou, both of Bladenboro, and a sister-in-law, Joanne Wright, also of Bladenboro; several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

Mrs. Valentine loved to bowl and spend time with her family. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
