Allie Lela Jackson, of St. Pauls passed away, Monday, January 27, 2014 in Cape Fear Valley Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born November 8, 1927, to the late Milbey and Allie Musselwhite. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James Theo Jackson; sisters, Maggie Musselwhite, Vada Cain and Leneze Johnson.

She is survived by three sons, James A. Jackson and wife Linda of St. Pauls, Phillip M. Jackson of Little River, SC., and Terry M. Jackson and wife Maria of St. Cloud, Minn.; a sister, Lillie Mae Cain; six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, all of whom she loved very much.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm, Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Pinecrest Funeral & Cremation Services in Hope Mills. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 31, 2014, at First United Baptist Church, Chickenfoot Rd, Hope Mills, with Dr. Robert Allen Collins, the Rev. John Cuthill and the Rev. Jack Church officiating.

Mrs. Jackson was a precious mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
