Mr. Alvin Elmer Bentley, age 75 of Hope Mills died Thursday.

He served 22 years in the US Army and 10 years with the Fayetteville Police Department.

He is survived by his wife, Debra; three daughters; two sons; two sisters Doris Bentley of Deane, KY and Betty Clark of Greenfield, IN; one brother Jess
Bentley of Scottsdale, AZ and several grandchildren.
