Alyssa Mckissick

Alyssa Lee Mckissick, 29, of Zebulon, NC, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018.

She was born April 3, 1989 at Dyess AFB in Abilene, Texas. Alyssa and her family would eventually make their home in New York where she would graduate from Sherburne-Earlville High School in 2007.

Our beautiful angel, loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend is survived by her 4 year old son, Brayden Allen, or as she referred to him, the light of her life. Alyssa would tell anyone that the day he was born was the greatest day of her life.

She is also survived by her husband, Ryan; her parents, Terry and Bridgetta Jones; her brother-in-law Rudolph (RJ) and loving sister Felicia Ann Racine, who grew up as the one who could finish her sentences, laugh until they cried, and as everyone knows, each other's best friends in every new place they moved, and overall partners in crime.

Alyssa is predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Robert and Shirley Guinn of Sherburne, NY. She is survived by her grandparents, Ronald Jones and Roxanne and Joel Soucy of Tupper Lake, NY.

Alyssa had so many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as too many friends to even begin to count, much less name.

She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, warm laugh and kind heart, and of course her ability to talk to anyone.
