Anna Hallford

Anna Grace Pridgen Hallford passed away November 2, 2016 at the age of 92. She was born June 21, 1924 in Robeson County, NC, to Caswell F. and Addie Prevatte Pridgen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Hallford; and her former husband Clarence M. Powell; her brothers, Roy and Eugene Pridgen; her sisters, Julia Pridgen Stone and Lavella Pridgen Odom; an infant son; and an infant daughter; son, Louis Hallford; granddaughter, Angela Powell; and grandsons, Mark Burge and Robert Hubbard.

She is survived by her sons, Frank Powell and wife Bonnie, of Durham; Bobby Powell and wife Ann, of Bailey; son Bruce Hallford of GA; grandsons, Mark Powell of Hendersonville, Christian Powell (Erin) of Goldsboro, Jamie Hallford of GA; granddaughters, Tracy Powell Raper (John) of Zebulon; Cindy Powell Steele of Lapeer, MI; Cheryl Powell of Greenville; special niece, Janet Moore (Felton) of Lillington; and by her great grandchildren, Breanna (Jason), Cameron, Noah, Caleb, Andrew, Elisha, John Robert, Steven, Nickole, Sarah, Josh and Abby.

She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
