Annie Ruth White

Annie Ruth White, 87 of Hope Mills, died Friday, August 4, 2023 in her home with family by her side.

Born in Cumberland County, Annie is the daughter of the late Joseph and Ollie Moore Capps. She is also preceded in death by her husband, James White, Jr.; granddaughter, Aarika Marie McKay; grandson, Jean Pierre; and siblings, Judy, Emma, Ethelynn, and Joseph.

She is survived by her son, James Christopher White and wife Carmen, son, Stephen L. White and wife Libby; sister, Inez Matthews; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Backpack Buddies program may be made to Hillside Baptist Church, P.O. Box 340, Hope Mills, NC 28348.
