Anthony Alan Kennedy

Anthony Alan Kennedy, 63 of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023.

Born December 10, 1959 in Cumberland County, Anthony is the son of the late Archie Wilkins Kennedy and Mary Ruby Cummings Kennedy. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sisters, Patsy Reeves and Jacqueline Upperman; and father-in-law, Jerry Dixon.

He is survived by his wife, Sherri Kennedy; daughters, Kadence and Savannah Kennedy; son, Kallen Kennedy; brother, Jerry Kennedy ; sister, Joan Wallace and husband Glenn, Jr.; mother-in-law, Sandra Dixon; brother-in-law, Michael Dixon and wife Brenda; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

Anthony was a kindhearted soul who deeply loved his family and friends, and was well known among them as a coffee connoisseur and steak master. He always put God first in everything. He attended First Church Fayetteville where he once formerly served as a youth pastor.  He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
