Arminda Blue

Arminda Jones Blue, 76, of Hope Mills, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020 in her home.

Born April 20, 1944 in Robeson County, Arminda was the daughter of the late Guilford and Janie Jones. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, James Jack Jones, Wadis Jones, Merlyn Jones, Bradford Jones, and Frank Jones, and sisters, Clennie Jones, Cela Mae Oxendine, and Flora Ellen Jones.

Arminda is survived by her husband, William Blue; children, Jackie Snyder and husband Keith Ulrick of Fayetteville, Billy Blue of Hope Mills, and Pamela Blue Carroll and husband George "That Boy" Carroll of Hope Mills; grandchildren, Christopher Snyder, William Snyder, Adam Snyder, Amanda Bacon, Victoria Carroll, and Zachary Carroll; great grandchildren, Anthony Snyder, Mikayla Snyder, Sophia Ritter, Mateo Snyder, and Declan Snyder; brother, Raymond Teddy Jones; sisters, Every Lee Jones and Edna Bowers; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.

The family will receive family and friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at Pinecrest Funeral and Cremation Services of Hope Mills. The family asks all visitors to try and honor the designated capacity limit (50 at any given time) and social distancing set forth due to COVID-19.

A private family memorial service will be held following the gathering at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be to Pinecrest Funeral and Cremation Services to assist with funeral expenses.
