Beth Orr

Beth Orr went to be with the Lord, Saturday, April 3, 2021 in Hope Mills, North Carolina at the age of 64.

Beth is survived by her children, John Rodriguez (Laura) and Regina McCartney (Jason); stepchildren, Tricia Ward (Cale), Michelle Schwarz (Rob), Chris Orr (Jovie), Bradley Orr (Leah) and Brandon Orr; two brothers, Mark Schneider and Dale Schneider; four sisters, Mary Jo Wellman, Jane Spayde, Amanda Guerrero and Maria Bartholomew; eleven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild due very soon; her dog, Buddy and cat, Gracie Lynn. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and June Schneider, brother John Schneider and her husband Steve Orr.

Beth was born in Evansville, Indiana on July 26, 1956 to Robert and June Schneider. During her life, she held different Customer Service positions and enjoyed working with people. She cherished her work relationships with those she knew from her time with Sara Lee, US Foods, Reinhart and most recently at Smith International in Lumberton, NC. Beth loved her children, grandchildren, her furry children and the love of her life, her husband Steve. Family time made her happy. She enjoyed taking care of her flowers and plants, being at the beach, the San Francisco 49ers and doing her nails. She loved God and was growing in her walk with the Lord. She and her husband were members of Southview Baptist Church and they loved their church family. Beth (Nana, Grandma Beth, Mom and all the other titles she held) will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Her cheerfulness and smile will be remembered forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 1, 2021 at Southview Baptist Church in Hope Mills, North Carolina. Visitation will be from 10 am to 11 am and the Celebration of Life will begin at 11 am. A reception will follow the service at Southview Baptist Church.
