Betty Ledford

Mrs. Betty Ledford, 83, of Hope Mills, died Friday, November 13, 2015.

Born in Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Myrtle McKinny Ledford. She is also preceded in death by 4 brothers, Jack, Lane, Bill (mama's twin) and Virgil; 2 sisters, Beulah and Althla Lee.

She is survived by 3 sons, Glen Jr. and wife Polly of Clarksville, VA, Charles and wife Kerry of Fort Worth, TX, Terry and wife Peggy of Hope Mills; 4 daughters, Sherry Jackson and husband Bud of Fayetteville, Janice Griffin of Stedman, Marlene Porter and husband Mert of Fayetteville, Shirley Smith and husband Ricky of Roseboro; 1 brother, Dean Ledford and wife Debby of Baltimore, MD; 17 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
