Betty Redei

Betty was born in Kinston, NC on October 29th, 1942 to McClammy Jones, father, and Opal Ervin, mother, and died on December 15th, 2009. Betty grew up in Swansboro, NC. She worked in daycare for several years, nurturing and taking care of young children. Betty loved all children and excelled at teaching them.

Betty is survived by three children from her previous marriage, Paula, Travis and Patrice and seven grandchildren.

Betty married Joe Redei in 1995. She led a happy life with him until she became severely ill. She struggled for the past few years with a severe illness, which took her life.

She was a loving mother and wife, who nurtured a special love for people. Betty always showed friendliness and warmth to family, friends, and strangers alike. She liked the outdoors, the flowers and the simple things of life. Betty was caring and she liked to make people around her happy. She is being remembered as a God-loving person.

Betty will always be loved and missed by her husband, Joe Redei, her children and everybody who knew her.
