Mr. Billy Ray Hall, 60, of Hope Mills, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020.
Born in Harnett County, Billy Ray is the son of Billy Junior Hall and the late Alice Parker Hall. Along with his mother, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Pearline Parker.
Billy Ray is survived by his wife, Sandy Hall; two daughters, Paula Lynn Gibson and her husband Jason and Jamie Rae Hall and her fiancé Lee Heaton; four grandchildren, Marissa Gibson, Ryan Gibson, Ethan Gibson and Gabe Heaton; father, Billy Junior Hall; three siblings, Ricky Hall and his wife Patty, Rita Rivera and her husband Henry, and Robbie Hall; two aunts, Edna Stancil and Susie Allen and her husband Junior; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of other family and friends.
Billy Ray worked with Powers-Swain Chevrolet for over 30 years before retiring as a Parts Manager. For many years, he was a Sunday School teacher at New Life Baptist Church, where he also ran a bus route with the bus ministry, and was a commander with the Awana Club.
Billy Ray enjoyed fishing, hunting, and flying model airplanes in his spare time, and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
