Bobby was born November 9, 1934 in Bunn Level, NC to the late Gurney O'Neal and Mary Glover Mason. He was a Vietnam Veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Lieselotte (Lisa)Mason; two sons, Raymond Mason and wife Joan, Ronald Mason and wife Donna; two sisters, Shelby Norris, Carol Antry and husband Bob; one brother Eddie Mason and wife Reevie; four grandchildren, Cliff, Wesley, Bailey, Mason, and Jennifer Bigler.
