To Our "Mother"

I have lost one of earth's greatest treasures,
Sent to me from above,
She had to come from the heart of God,
To be filled with so much love,
When I stumble, she was there to catch me,
To give courage to try again,
And even when I would hurt my knee,
She would kiss away the pain.

Then, one day when I grew up,
I left home to make it on my own,
And, I know that's the way it's supposed to be,
But I sure missed some of the things back home,
Especially her homemade bread,
But I think what I really miss the most
Was her tucking me in bed.

Somehow she had that special touch,
That could calm my every fear,
Just the touch of her hand could ease the pain,
And dry my every tear
She's gone now and I miss her tender care,
For it seemed to make everything alright,
Just to know that she was there.

Left to morn her passing are her children; Donna Burris, Laura Powers, Richard Litka, Jr, Russell Litka, Raymond Echevarria, Randall Litka, Frank Echevarria and Tanalou Davis her sister Ilean Okrie, 21 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
