Boyd Canady

Boyd Pierce Canady, 66, of Hope Mills, passed away September 12, 2020.

Born in Cumberland County, he was the son of the late Ernest R. and Elsie Nordan Canady.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Hoyle R. Canady.

He is survived by 3 sisters, Martha C. Bowen, Lynda C. Richter & husband Fred and Mary Laughlin & husband Michael; two brothers, David N. Canady & wife Jeanne and Ernest R. Canady & wife Janice.

Mr. Canady loved his family and friends.  He enjoyed working with the forestry service from which he retired after 30 years of employment, cooking, hunting and fishing.

He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
