Carol Sue Lewis, 77 of Fayetteville, passed away, Sunday, November 19, 2023, at Cape Fear Medical Center.
Born in Robeson County, she is the daughter of the late, Freeman Davis, Sr. and Annie Ruth Davis.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Glen Lewis; daughter, April Dehu and husband Vinnie, and grandchildren Enzo Dehu and Cassius Dehu; son, Michael Allen and wife Beverly, and grandchildren Ashley Vitale, Alex Allen, and Bailey Ruffin; son, Mitch Allen and wife Liz, and granddaughter Krista Allen; step daughter, Teresa Dues and husband Van, and step daughter, Pamelia Lewis; chosen daughter, Jackie Malinsky and husband Jason; favorite niece, Tara Fisher and husband Ryan; fur babies, Cooper the dachshund, and Figgy the cat; sisters, Billie D. Britt, Shelby D. Young, Dianne D. Garner, Marie D. Taylor, and Jennifer L. Davis; brother, Freeman (Jimmy) Davis, Jr., and a host of nieces and nephews.
Carol enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, putting puzzles together, gardening and shopping. She never passed up an opportunity to go to Starbucks and indulge in having her favorite beverage. She was obsessed with the Royal family and had a collection of books about Princess Diana. Carol never hesitated to ask you about your relationship with Jesus Christ and where you would spend eternity if you were to die. She was passionate about the importance of having a personal relationship with her Lord and Savior. Through the years she touched the lives of so many. She loved her family and her Fur babies and will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
