Christopher Mcfayden

Christopher "Mac" Lynn McFayden, 44 of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023.

Born January 16, 1979 in Cumberland County, Mac is the son of Tommy Lynn and Lynda Lea McFayden.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Hester, Jr. and Lucy McFayden and maternal grandparents, Lee and Eleanor Byrd.

In addition to his parents, Mac is also survived by his brother, Brian Lee McFayden and wife Sharlie L. Heflin; nephew, Noah Tyler McFayden; nieces, Kristina McFayden and Brooke McFayden; aunt, Esther Prince and husband Charles; aunt, Marilyn Stelmasczyk and husband Ron; uncle, Tim Byrd; cousins, Joel, Karen, and Brittney; his beloved feline companion, Macaroni; and a host of other family and friends.

Mac was a graduate of Southview High School and worked at Fayetteville Regional Airport for several years. He was a kind and loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend who will be greatly missed by  everyone who knew and loved him.
