Clarence "Frank" Flowers, 73, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, October 19, 2016.
Born November 24, 1942 in Blytheville, Arkansas, Frank was the son of the late Clarence Porter Flowers and Betty Ferguson Flowers.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Verna.
Frank served in the U.S. Army with the 7th Group Special Forces Unit and the 82nd Airborne before retiring after over twenty years of service. During his time in the military, he completed two tours in Vietnam and one tour in the Dominican Republic.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Flowers; three daughters, Rae L. Flowers, Rhonda Winters and husband Michael, and Sherrie Ann Flowers; son, Brian Flowers; stepdaughter, Melissa Ham and husband Chad; stepson, Jimmy McDonald; brother, Dennis Flowers; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Frank will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
