Dakota Parker

Dakota Trey Parker, 14, died Wednesday, April 11, 2012.



Dakota was in the eighth grade at Southview Middle School and enjoyed playing football, basketball, skateboarding, bicycle riding, chasing girls and hanging with his best bud Terrance.



Dakota was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather,  Gary Burgette and paternal grandfather, Don Locklear.



Mourning his death are parents, Melody and Chris Hammonds;  maternal grandmother, Dorothy Burgette; paternal  grandmother,  Judy Hammonds; paternal great-grandmother, Margaret Norton,  plus a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors and friends.



Visitation will be Monday, April 16, 2012 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home chapel with interment in Cumberland Cemetery.
