Dale Young

Dale Young, 83 of Fayetteville, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023 in his home with family by his side.

Born October 2, 1939 in Osgood, IN, Dale is the son of the late Raymond and Genevieve Taylor Young.  He was also preceded in death by a great grandson Payton Tanner.

He is survived by his wife, Molly Brown Young; daughter, Angela Gay Payne & husband Terry; sons, Dale Gregory Young, James Keith Young & wife Tiffany, and Richard Herbert Young & wife Jodi; grandchildren, Nickie Tanner & husband Jerry, Jaime Young & fiance Richard, Ami Blake & husband Brian, Martha Grayson & husband Shimano, Ben Young, Layne Young & husband Kody, Nathan Young & wife Tatyana, Tyler Payne & wife Korissa, Hollie Payne & fiance Dylan, Caitlin Young, Joey Gagnon, Daniel Gagnon, Katie Delgado, Nick Delgado, and Maddie Handforth; great grandchildren, Austin, Brianna, Makayla, Jason, Jacob, Joshua, Ethan, Paige, Ashleigh, Chasity, Gabby, Aubree, Jordan, Jack, Beau, Maddox, Ethan, Mollie; great-great grandchildren, Cassidy, Aiden, and Bentley; sister, Wanda Roberts; brother, Gary Young & wife Diane; and a host of other family members and friends.

Dale had several hobbies he enjoyed including dirt track and NASCAR racing, church fellowship with his church family, and woodworking, but most of all, he simply loved spending time with his family.

Dale was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
