Dalton Gaskins

Dalton Lee Gaskins, 21, of Hope Mills passed away, Thursday, August 23, 2018.

Born in Cumberland County, he was the son of Billy Gene Gaskins, Jr. of Grays Creek and Denise Hughes-Gaskins of Hope Mills.

Dalton was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Judy B. Hill and paternal grandmother, Barbara Jane Gaskins.

Along with his parents, Dalton is survived by his twin sister, Molly Gaskins of Hope Mills; brother, Trace Gaskins and wife Chelseigh of Grays Creek; grandparents, Billy Gene and Linda Gaskins, Sr. of Fayetteville; maternal grandfather, Bobby Hill; girlfriend, Kim Schewe; a niece Isabella; and nephews, Nathan, Mason, and Cole; and step-mother, Erica Gaskins.

Dalton graduated from South View High School and worked at Valley Proteins, Inc. Dalton loved to work on his Mustang and he loved to weld. He enjoyed playing baseball and football. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm, Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Pinecrest Funeral & Cremation Services of Hope Mills. Burial will follow at Hope Mills Cemetery. Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
