David Turpin

David Lynn Turpin, 68, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, July 16, 2015 surrounded by his family.

Born January 24, 1947 in Mercer County, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Roy H. Turpin, Sr. and Ida Mae Turpin.

Along with his parents, David was preceded in death by his sister, Norma Weatherly and his brother, Roy H. Turpin, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Linda Gale Turpin; daughter, Catherine Adams and her husband Robert of Hope Mills; daughter, Teresa Rubio and her husband Martin of Fayetteville; sisters, Deloris Shrader, Carolyn Neal, and Barbara Roark; brother, Jerrell Turpin; four grandchildren, Audrey Hammett, Kayla Hammett, Matthew Adams, and Austin Adams; and two great grandchildren, Erickalya Tucker and Rebecca Tucker.

David was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
