Obituary
Deloris Jacqualine Young- Robinson “Loris- Jackie”
Daughter of the late Lloyd and Adell Young Robinson, the 9th child was born in Bladen County, NC on March 10,th 1943.
God called her home and departed this life on June 6,th 2024 at her home in Fayetteville NC.
In 1964 she moved to Brooklyn, NY, The Big Apple, where she lived a better part of her life. During that time, she raised five children. She then devoted 45 years of service with the Special Education Dept, in the Board of Education NYC. Deloris successfully retired in 2009.
Throughout her life and our benefit, her kitchen was a production ran by her alone. A self-made master of the kitchen. She loved being her secret taste tester. She loved her Gospel music, playing cards, and dancing. There are so many facts of her life that will be missed.
For each person here today, longing may differ, she was indeed a kind, loving, and devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandma, beloved Aunt and friend.
Her home became a respite for those nieces and nephews who found comfort in her and those regular visits calls filled her life. Her memory will forever be embedded in hearts, minds, and souls of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Our Queen Has Gone Home to Receive Her Crown.

The family of Mrs. Deloris Jacquline Young- Robinson wishes to acknowledge and express sincere gratitude and appreciation to everyone for all acts of love , devotion and concern that have been extended to us during the passing of our mother.
Please remember each of us in your prayers. May God continue to bless all. Our Dear mother would say, please do not be unhappy just because I’m out of sight.
Remember that I’m with you every morning, noon, and night. That day I left you when my life on earth was through, God picked me up, hugged me, and said “I welcome you “.
So when you think of my life on earth and those loving years, because you’re only human they are bound to bring you to tears. Do not be afraid to cry, it will relieve the pain. Just remember there would be no flowers unless there was rain. One thing for certain through life on earth is over, I am closer to you now that I ever was before; and to my family, and my very many friends: “Trust In God”… He Knows best. I’m still not far away from you; I’m just beyond the Cress… I Love You All!
