Donald John Maitland, 92 of Fayetteville passed away April 5, 2021.
Born in Boone County, IL he is the son of the late William Howard and Marcia Faye Cornwell Maitland. He was also preceded in death by a son, Larry Maitland.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Patricia Maitland; 3 daughters, Connie Maitland, Sharon Killen & husband Eugene, Linda Cooke & husband Doug; 4 sons, William Maitland, Steven Maitland, Joe Maitland & wife Ann, Gregory Maitland & wife Teresa; 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren & 2 great great grandchildren.
He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from the US Postal Service.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:30 am Tuesday April 13 at Pinecrest Funeral & Cremations Services followed by a funeral service at 11:30 at the funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park 2301 Ramsey Street Fayetteville, NC 28301.
He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
