Dorothea Stackhouse

HOPE MILLS - In loving memory of Dorothea "Maria" Stackhouse, who went home to our heavenly father on July 23, 2015.

Born on January 8, 1952 in Germany, came to her home of USA in 1987. Maria was the loving wife of 30 years to Bill. Also survived by her son Alex Polleit and his wife Katrina, also her two grandchildren Julia and Felix all living in Germany. Maria had three adopted sons in NC, Demitiries, Darius, Dominque, several nieces and nephews, also her large loving family in MD; all of whom she loved dearly.

She was a devoted member of the Cotton United Methodist Church. Maria was a devoted and kindhearted, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She enjoyed her crafts and especially making "special" gifts for the people she loved. Maria will be truly missed by all.
