Dorothy Gomes

Dorothy Virginia Gomes, 93 of Fayetteville, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021 in her home with family by her side.

Born April 26, 1928 in Halifax County, Virginia, Dorothy was the daughter of the late George Leslie and Annie Stevens Davis.

She is survived by her sons, Larry Walker and wife Connie, Ronnie Walker and wife Wanda, and Darrell Gomes and wife Becky; seven grandchildren, Dalisa, Rhonda, Larry Joe, Ronnie, Brooke, Nick, and Tara; eleven great grandchildren, Ashley, Virginia, Emily, Matthew, Andrew, Katlyn, Clayton, Karleigh, Ethan, Ella, and Beck; three great-great grandchildren, Gavin, Sterling, and Luka; brother, Raymond Davis; sisters, Coretta Mattherly and Margie English; and several other family members and friends.

Dorothy enjoyed the beach and was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
