Douglas DeHorse age 81 of Fayetteville died Thursday July 14, 2011.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Charlotte DeHorse of the home; one daughter, Catherine DeHorse and husband Gil Lesko of Fayetteville; three sons, Guy Hardman of Raeford, Michael DeHorseof Fayetteville and David DeHorse of Madison, WI; one sister, Florine Shaving of La Plante, SD; three grandchildren, Michael Anthony DeHorse, Callie DeHorse and Joanna Austin.

Born in North Dakota, Mr. DeHorse is the son of the late Samuel and Mabelle Round Head Different Horse. He was retired from the US Army.
