Douglas Locklear

Douglas Locklear, 85 of Fayetteville, died Friday, October 14, 2016, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Born in Robeson County, he was the son of Luther J. Locklear and Sarah Elizabeth Tyler Locklear. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister; Berline Carter; five brothers; Luther, James, Marvin, Brady and Gilbert Locklear.

He is survived by two sisters, Pauline Davis and Delma Locklear both of Fayetteville.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, October 17, 2016 at Pinecrest Funeral & Cremation Services in Hope Mills. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, tonight at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Saint Anna Cemetery, 1662 Saint Anna Road, Pembroke, NC.

Mr. Locklear loved to listen to gospel music. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
