Effie Hulon-Moore

Mrs. Effie Marie Hulon-Moore of 2922 Dothan Drive, Fayetteville, North Carolina, formerly of Yalesville, Connecticut passed away Friday, January 29, 2010 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.

Services: Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 pm Tuesday at Pinecrest Funeral and Cremation Services of Hope Mills, NC. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Cumberland Memorial Gardens, Fayetteville, NC.

Mrs. Moore worked previously at Corometrics Medical Systems in Wallingford, Connecticut. She was responsible for assembly of baby heart monitors, something that was very special to her and she was proud to do. She finally had to take a medical retirement from her latest employment at service America Food service in Fayetteville.

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband Adrian Moore, her parents Edward Hulon and Robena Lowery.

Surviving are companion, James Berry of Fayetteville; two sons Matthew Atkins of Fayetteville and James Atkins of Greensboro; five grandchildren, Ben, Brandon H. Ross and Lina H. Marley of Fayetteville. She is also survived by three nieces, Denise, Leslie and Misty; two nephews David, Trey, Will, Ray and Mason.
