Elizabeth Chavis

Elizabeth Ann Bartley Chavis, 58, of Lumber Bridge, died Monday, February 6, 2017 in Lumberton.

Born October 31, 1958 in Chadbourn, NC, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Homer and Bernice Mitchell Bartley.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Homer Bartley, Jr.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Bill Chavis; daughter Bernice Nicole Chavis of Lumber Bridge; sister, Donna Robinson and husband Chris of Greensboro; brothers, Robert Bartley and William "Penny" Bartley, both of Greensboro; uncle, Buddy Bartley of Lumberton; uncle, Tommy Mitchell of Hope Mills; aunt Ruby Mitchell and husband James of Hope Mills; and several nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
