Ellen Wilkinson

Ellen Faye Spell Wilkinson, 77 of Hope Mills, passed away June 16, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.    Born in Cumberland County,  she is the daughter of Albert Spell and Roxie Holland Spell.  She is preceded in death by her parents, a grand-daughter, Raven Wilkinson, and a brother, Albert Charles Spell.

She is survived by sons, Steve Wilkinson,  and David Wilkinson and fiancée Christal Belcher; a granddaughter, Ashlyn Wilkinson; grandsons, Cody Belcher, Alex Belcher; sisters, Jean Hodges, Rachel Wallace, Mary Daniels and husband Wayne; and her fur baby, Bruno.

Ellen enjoyed crafts and watching cowboy movies.  She also enjoyed traveling with her sisters and spending time with them.  She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, June 21,2021 at Pinecrest Funeral and Cremation Services.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Immediately following the service she will be laid to rest at Spell Cemetery, Dunn Road,  Salemburg, NC.
