Eric Jason Gomez, 45 of Hope Mills, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022.

Eric was born on December 4, 1976 in Los Angeles, CA.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Gomez; daughter, Justina Gomez; daughter, Jenna Gomez; stepdaughter, Alexis Jernigan; stepson, Angel Garza; stepson, Aaron Richardson; mother, Lorraine Hinson; father, Michael Jackson; stepfather, David Hinson; stepmother, Irene Fimbres; granddaughter, Janessa Webb; step-grandchildren, Cassiah Jernigan, Minowa Garza, and Eden Garza; brother, Jasper Hinson; sister, Michelle Jackson; sister, Maureen Jackson; sister, Andrea Jackson; and a host of other family and friends.

Eric never met a stranger and treated everyone like family. He was a devoted husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
