Ernest Blakey Barefoot, 83, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, October 17, 2018.
Born in Cumberland County, Ernest was the son of the late William and Lola Barefoot.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Lee Barefoot; son, Blakey Barefoot; and brothers, Billy and Alvin Barefoot.
He is survived by two sons, Mitchell Barefoot and wife Angie and Ricky Barefoot and wife Lynn; five grandchildren, April, Melissa, Matthew and wife Samantha, Kelly, and Brian; and seven great-grandchildren, Braden, Bristol, Makenna, Bodie, Aaron, Trey, and Amaya.
Ernest was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
