Esther Maynor

Mrs. Esther Goins Maynor, age 97, of Fayetteville, NC, peacefully went to be with her Heavenly Father on May 28, 2014 at her home.

She was born September 9, 1917 in Moore County, NC. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, great-great-great-grandmother, and aunt. She was a faithful member of Cape Fear Baptist Church for many, many years. She taught Sunday School, and she loved the Lord dearly.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Franklin Maynor; her father, Wesley Goins; mother, Hoilday Moore Goins; infant son, Lenoard Maynor; son, Robert "Bobby" Steven Maynor; daughter, Betty Lou Jones; granddaughters, Brenda Sue Maynor and Fay Maynor; and great granddaughter, Angela Littlehawk.

She is survived by daughters, Marie Maynor Chavis and husband William "Bill" Chavis and Denise Maynor Cox and husband Ronnie Cox; 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 42 great-great grandchildren; 2 great-great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
