Evan Windham

Evan Bain Windham, 3, born July 9, 2012, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus with his family by his side at Duke University Medical Center on July 29, 2015.

He was preceded in death by Stanley Windham Sr. (Papa).

He is survived by his parents, Stan and Julie Windham and brother Garrett, of Hope Mills, NC; Jeanette Windham (Mema) of Hope Mills, NC; Julian (Papa) and Darlene (Granny) Bain of Hope Mills, NC; and Mary Ann Windham (Step-Grandma) of Randleman, NC. He is also survived by 3 uncles, 3 aunts, 7 cousins and a Great Grandpa as follows: Uncle Matt and his wife Aunt Heather Windham of Fayetteville, NC and their children Emma and Matthew; Aunt Michelle and her husband Uncle Micah Eastwood of Hendersonville, NC and their daughters, Leona, Bethany, and Makayla; Aunt April and her husband Uncle Paul Kendall of Hope Mills, NC and their sons, Daniel and Samuel; and Great Grandpa Cicero Maxwell of Hope Mills, NC.

Though he was here for such a short while, Evan brought joy and laughter to all who knew and loved him. We will miss you buddy.
