Mr. Francis Ray "Buddy" Hester, 67, of Hope Mills, died Thursday, December 24, 2015 in his home surrounded by his family.
Born October 3, 1948 in Cumberland County, he was the son of the late Francis Weldon and Bertha Harper Hester.
Buddy was a member of Jesus First Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Nancy; son, Jeremy Hester; daughter, Jennifer Hanson and husband Roger; sisters, Betty Rogers and husband Jim, and Elizabeth New; brothers, Charles Hester, Clifton Hester and wife Gloria, and Grady Hester; grandchildren, Zachary Hanson, Hunter Hanson, Courtney Hanson, Tristan Hanson, Emily Hanson, Nathan Hester, and Josh Burgette; and one great-grandchild, Adrianna Burgett.
Buddy was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
