Franklin Delano Hall, 79 of Hope Mills, died Thursday, May 23, 2013 peacefully at his residence.

Born in Cumberland County, he is the son of John and Minnie Buie Hall. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Maggie C. Hall and a brother, Robert Hall all of Hope Mills.

He is survived by his wife, Janis Hall and Tiger Lilly of the home; a brother, Dr. Daniel K. Hall of Fayetteville; sister-in-law, Elsie Hall; nieces & nephews, Sharon Brown of Fayetteville, Dr. Jenny Lynn Hall and Kirk Hall of Goldsboro, Fred and Buttercup Wolfe of Foley, AL. and Stanley Hall of Huntsville, AL., Debra and Dean Thieret of York, PA., friends, Carol Gautier and husband Lloyd and Joe Johnson and wife Jeri all of Hope Mills.

Frank graduated from Hope Mills High School in 1952. He traveled the Eastern Seaboard for Automatic Electrical Northlake of Illinois, installing central telephone offices. He served in the United States Army, served on the Board of Directors for the Cotton Volunteer Fire Department for thirty-five years, was a member of the Hope Mills Lebanon Masonic Lodge #391 for thirty-eight years, a member of the Fayetteville Model A Restorers Club and a member of the Hope Mills First Baptist Church. Frank enjoyed buying and selling at flea markets and spending time with his wife, friends, and the love of his life Tiger Lilly.
