Gene Patrick Phillips, Sr., 57 of Hope Mills, passed away on February 15, 2023.
Born February 17, 1965 in Norfolk, VA, Gene was preceded in death by his sons, Michael Todd Phillips and Dustin Lee Campbell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Deborah Phillips; daughter, Shelly Gibson and husband Larry; daughter, Victoria Hunt and husband Rockey; son, Darrell Campbell and wife Tenielle; son Gene Patrick Phillips, Jr. and wife Patricia; daughter, Tiffanie Phillips; daughter, Paige Atkinson and husband Joseph; 12 grandchildren; mother, Jessie Lou Britt; father, Frankie Phillips and wife Jean Carol; and a host of other family members and friends.
Gene was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and son. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
