Geneva Pate

Geneva Delaine Hale Pate, 79 of Fayetteville, passed away on November 14, 2022.

Born in New Hanover County, she is the daughter of the late Bernard Hale and Edna Calhoun Hale. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Pate.

Delaine is survived by her son, Brett Polston; sister, Carol Hickman and husband Ron; sisters-in-laws, June Windsor, Elizabeth McDonald, and Mattie Fields; Nieces and Nephews; and extended family that were there for her until the end, Vicki Gray and Julie Mauldin.

Delaine was a wonderful person who deeply loved her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
