He was a retired truck driver and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Allender of Hope Mills; sisters, Robin and Bonnie Post; 9 brothers, Richard, Harold, Danius, Wilson, Norman, John, Floyd, Daniel and Cyrus Post.
