Giovanna Poole

Giovanna Tornieri Poole, 94 of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023.

Born April 10, 1928 in Italy, Giovanna is the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria Tornieri. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Tooney Poole; sisters, Iole Greene, and Rita Tornieri; and brothers, Renzo Tornieri, and Giovanni Tornieri.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Tew and husband Ray; son, Robert Poole and wife Kathleen; grandchildren, Robert Poole, Michael Poole, Sandra Johnson and husband Keith; great grandchildren, Tyler Wood and wife Amanda, Victoria Frank and husband Brian, Casey Mancilla and husband Carlos; great-great grandchildren, Elizabeth Mancilla, Emmelyn Wood, Bryson Wood; sister, Bruna Bailoni and husband Anthony; brothers, Mario Tornieri and wife Maria Velia, and Dino Tornieri.  

Giovanna loved to play bingo in her spare time and also enjoyed spending time with her beloved family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
