Helen Jackson

Helen Garner Jackson, 84, of Hope Mills died Tuesday, March 10, 2015.

Born in Cumberland County, she was the daughter of Dewey Allen and Nancy Smith Garner. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, James "Ricky" Jackson; brothers, Bobby Gene Garner and James Akie Garner; sister, Blondell Blackwell; grandson, Matthew Allen Jackson.

She is survived by her husband, Grady Floyd Jackson; daughter, Hilda Jackson Cash and husband David of Hope Mills; son, Floyd Allen Jackson and wife Barbara of Winston-Salem; sisters, Dianne West and husband Rod of Hope Mills and Mary Doble of Burlington, CT; grandchildren, Stephanie Cash Barber and husband Pat of Charlotte, Trish Jackson of Winston-Salem, Chad Jackson of Fayetteville, and Michael Cash of Hope Mills; and two great-grandchildren.
