Herman Coleman

Herman Darrell Coleman, 65, of Fayetteville, NC, died Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Womack Army Medical Center on Fort Bragg..

Born November 19, 1948 in Covington, Tennessee, he is the son of the late Johnnie and Allie Coats Coleman. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Coleman.

Mr. Coleman retired from the Army after over 22 years of service.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Pinecrest Funeral and Cremation Services in Hope Mills, NC.

A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Hope Mills. Burial with full military honors will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake, NC.

Mr. Coleman leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Nancy Coleman; daughter, Alisa Teale and husband William; son, Matthew Coleman and wife Barbara; brothers, Roy Coleman and J.T. Coleman, sisters, Rita Yarbro and Ginger Roberts; and 6 grandchildren, Bailey Teale, Hannah Teale, Samantha Teale, Megan Tackett, Joseph Tackett, and Jonathan Coleman.

Mr. Coleman will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
