Homer Kenneth Sadler, 74 of Hope Mills, passed away February 15, 2022.
Born in Cumberland County he is the son of the late Paul Oliver and Pearl Pleasant Sadler. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Margaret Dixon, Patricia Autry, Brenda Sadler and Betty Smith; brothers, Paul Jr. Sadler and Leroy Sadler, mother-in-law, Josephine Blackwell Creekmore; sister-in-law, Wilma Jean Bell & husband Bill Bell; nephew, Walter Bell, Sr. and a great-grandchild, Damian.
He is survived by his wife, Cora Sadler; step-son, Ira Quentin Barnes II and wife Nickie Barnes; step-daughters, April Caudill and Crystal Nunnery; brother, James Sadler; sisters, Geraldine Kirk and Phyllis Jacobs; brother-in-laws, C. L. Creekmore and Robert Elee Creekmore; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Bell & husband Emillo, Melinda Bell, Walter Bell, Jr. & wife Lety Bell, William Bell and David Nunnery; great nieces and nephews, Sophia, Alitzel, Fabial, Jonathan, Riley, C. J. and Nyla; son, Thomas Corney & wife, Tonia; daughter, Linda Corney; grandchildren, Khristene Stuchel & husband Eddison, Joseph Stuchel, Dustin Strickland, Holly Clayton & husband Brennen, Amanda Andreatta & husband Travis, Kelly Spell & husband Jacob, Alex Caudill and Nicholas Caudill; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Emily, Dominique, Alissa, Jayden, Bryson, Charlotte, Hunter, Thomas, Waylon and Jacob Jr.
Homer was known by many and loved by all. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
