Iris Michelle Black, 58 of Fayetteville, passed away on September 23, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Born in Cumberland County, Iris is the daughter of Elizabeth Smith and the late Gartha Stewart.
She is survived by her husband, Matthew Black; daughters, Kirstina Black and Melissa Black; son, John David Horne, III; mother, Elizabeth Smith; and grandson, Dallas Jackson Horne.
Iris had several hobbies that she enjoyed in her spare time. She loved to watch Soap Operas and NASCAR television, she also loved cleaning her home and shopping. Iris was known by many and loved by all, she will be greatly missed.
