Retired Army MSGT James Franklin Allee, 85, of Fayetteville, died Friday, October 3, 2014 in his home, surrounded by family.
Mr. Allee was born January 30, 1929 in California, MO to the late John Franklin Allee and Edith Grace Bybee Allee.
He served in the U.S. Army for 20 years before retiring in 1967, and would then go on to retire from Black and Decker after 25 years of service. He was currently employed at Breezewood Day Care.
Mr. Allee leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Betty Allee; daughter, Debbie Swiney and husband Don of Fayetteville; three sons, Mike Allee and wife Carroll of Raeford, Timothy Dunlap and wife Joyce of Fayetteville, and Tommy J. Dunlap and wife Linda of Fayetteville; sister, Barbara Walter and husband Gary of California, MO; five grandchildren, Keith Dunlap and wife Christina of Parkton, Tommy T. Dunlap and wife Stacy of Fort Bragg, Brad Allee, Brooke Swiney, and Ashley Swiney, all of Fayetteville; two great grandchildren, Tyler Stewart and Lexy Drake; and mother-in-law, Catherine McMillan of Fayetteville.
