James Brady

James Hayden Brady, 71, of Hope Mills, died December 14, 2018, at home with his family by his side.

Jim was a proud veteran of the United States Army having served as a Military Policeman with the 4th Infantry Division in the Vietnam War from 1968-1969. Following his military service, Jim coached and taught at Saint Patrick Catholic School for 17 years. In 1992, he changed careers becoming a computer programmer at Fayetteville Technical Community College. After 25 years, Jim retired from FTCC in 2017.

Jim is survived by his wife, Pat, of 46 years; daughters, Cathi Buie and Erica Maxwell (Jason) of Fayetteville, Heather Stough (Beau) of Camden; son, Jason Brady (Erica) of Fayetteville; grandchildren Kristyn Keefe (Bazen), Dylan and Camryn Stough, Morgan Brady and Bryce Maxwell; great-grandson Wyatt Keefe; brothers Dennis Brady (Kathy) of Bowie, MD, Mike Brady of Hillsborough, and Joe Brady of Fayetteville; and sisters Barbara Brady of Lumber Bridge, Sarah Satterfield (Rex) of Hopewell, VA, and Judy Nunnery (Rick) of West End.
