James Leonard

James Paul Leonard, aged 44 and living in Fayetteville, passed away on December 15th, 2016.

Born in Manassas, VA, he was the son of Mike and Lee Leonard.

He is survived by his loving wife, Amelia Leonard (of Bismarck, ND), and their three children: James Michael, Amber, and Jason.

His loss is also mourned by his parents, Mike and Lee Leonard (of Fayetteville, NC), his brother, David Leonard (of Don Benito, Spain), his sisters; Michelle Leonard (of Fayetteville, NC) and her two sons, and Heather and Jim Peay (of Falls Church, VA) and their five children.

James found solace in music and art, he was an incredibly talented artist and he always had a guitar and a sketch pad nearby. He enjoyed restoring and riding motorcycles and he had a passion for Bushido and Aikido. He was an avid marksman and a veteran of the 101st Airborne.

He is finally at peace and he left behind a family that loves him very much.
